The clients I work with are experiencing a lot of stress and anxiety related to changes in their life. Some of life’s changes are expected, such as graduating from school, getting married, becoming a parent, buying a house, changing jobs, or moving towards retirement. However, some things just weren’t on our list of expectations, such as having a miscarriage, a child born with special needs, a job lay-off, or an unfaithful spouse. Regardless of whether the changes you are going through are expected or unexpected, sometimes it’s helpful to utilize a third party to help us move through these changes as peacefully as possible.
My professional style is relaxed, open, and collaborative. Clients often slip their shoes off during sessions (I certainly do). Clients identify what changes are important to them, and those are the goals that we focus on during sessions. Instead of blaming, we focus on solutions so stress can decrease. Even after just one or two sessions, many report feeling like they’ve had a weight lifted off of them.
Coaching and therapy are available in face-to-face, email, and Skype formats. Coaching is also available via the phone. All web-based formats are delivered through “encrypted” methods in order to meet HIPAA standards that protect your privacy.
