Cost of Sessions (Same Rates for Both Therapy and Coaching)
Getting help is important, but being able to afford it is also important. I am committed to helping as many people as I can, because I know how great it feels to have peace, control, hope and healing in your life. So I’ve done some research and found price points that offer affordability and flexibility, without tipping the bank account!
You get to choose how much a session costs by choosing the length of your session. You also get to choose how frequently you come in- there’s no high pressure from me! I respect your needs and I believe you know yourself well enough to know if once a week or every other week works better for you! I also know that getting a babysitter can add to the cost of coming in, so we can connect while the kids are at school or day care, or in shorter lengths of time! We can even connect by phone once they are asleep at night! We’ll find a way to meet your busy schedule!

Insurance
You may be wondering about using your insurance to pay for therapy. In my practice, I try to keep things as simple as possible. I do not directly file any insurance in my practice. There are lots of reasons for this. For one, it actually keeps costs lower. Instead of insurance companies setting my rates at a much higher level for you, I have been able to set them based on the community need. I’ve even had a few therapists tell me I’m hurting their business and should raise my rates. But I’m committed to helping my clients. I’ve also known of many clients who have filed using their insurance, only to get a pretty hefty bill a few weeks to a few months later from the insurance company when they denied payment. I just don’t think that’s helping your stress level to wait and see if they’ll accept it, and then to owe hundreds of dollars for services.
For another reason, it gives you maximum control over your confidential medical care.I’ve found that these rates are actually pretty close to most mental health co-pays, so we can keep things completely confidential and cost-efficient- all while giving you maximum privacy.
However, if you would like to use your insurance, please request…
what we call a “superbill” at the end of each session. I’ll complete certain sections, and then you take it home, fill in your insurance policy information and send it in to your insurance provider. They’ll reimburse you according to your policy. I’ve had clients who have done this successfully in the past! All you have to do is ask for the form and you’re good to go! It’s a win-win!
I know this can seem a little confusing or a little overwhelming, so please just ask me any questions that you may have!
